The staff and management couldn’t do enough for you and the situation is good as it’s near to many local shops and close to train station. Nothing to dislike.

What a wonderful hotel The George is. My room was absolutely gorgeous; I wasn’t expecting a four poster bed so that was a great surprise. The bath was huge and great for a relaxing soak. A great asset to the village of Pangbourne. A pub with a lovely atmosphere. The landlady does everything possible to make all customers feel welcome from young to old, new customers and regulars. She is open to suggestions and feedback. The George Hotel is fast becoming the place to be in Pangbourne.
