What a wonderful hotel The George is. My room was absolutely gorgeous; I wasn’t expecting a four poster bed so that was a great surprise. The bath was huge and great for a relaxing soak. For the price, it exceeded all my expectations. The breakfast was excellent and good value for money and the breakfast staff were really lovely. I have to give a special mention to Dee on the check in desk who was so incredibly lovely and kind.
All in all it was an excellent stay.

A great asset to the village of Pangbourne. A pub with a lovely atmosphere. The landlady does everything possible to make all customers feel welcome from young to old, new customers and regulars. She is open to suggestions and feedback. The George Hotel is fast becoming the place to be in Pangbourne.
